YouTubeReader.com is an online exhibition assigned to us by the National Library of Sweden and curated by the Nederlands Filmmuseum. It accompanies the new book “The YouTube Reader” wich is the first to explore YouTube from a film and media theory point of view.

The exhibition understands YouTube as a mirror maze – just like the one on the weekend fair: YouTube reflects it’s users and the users reflect on YouTube. On the other side of the mirror people are watching and reacting on them. It comes to endless reflections.

Divided in four sections the visitor takes different perspectives and sees very strong visual translations of the mirror maze concept. Simple reflections are shown as a classic mirror maze, global movements on YouTube look like a flower endlessly repeating itself, a kaleidoskope explains how users mix and reuse contents and create new surprising clips and finaly a mirror paradox embodies the clips that reflect each other endlessly.

Im Science Center Medizintechnik am Potsdamer Platz in Berlin gibt Otto Bock Einblicke in den menschlichen Körper und seinen Bewegungsapparat. Die faszinierende, interaktive, multimediale Ausstellung von ART+COM und die anziehende organische Architektur der Gnädinger Architekten machen den Besuch zu einem Erlebnis.

In Zusammenarbeit mit demodern und Onlinewerft konzipierten, gestalteten und entwickelten NON SQUARE PIGS eine Website die dem Science Center gerecht wird. Leicht verständlich und barrierearm macht sie neugierig auf den eigenen Körper und Lust auf einen Besuch im Science Center Medizintechnik.

“B96″, der letzte Kurzfilm, den ich geschnitten hab tourt durch die Festivals. Nach seiner Welturaufführung in Saarbrücken beim “Filmfestival Max-Ophüls-Preis” lief der Film auch in Wien auf dem internationalen “Festival der Filmakademie Wien”. Hier ein Foto vom stolzen Editor vor den Plakaten in der Donau-Metropole. Desweiteren läuft der Film gerade auf dem “New Berlin Filmfestival” und auf dem “Sehsüchte Festival” in Potsdam.
